My journalism career began, aged 21, at an award-winning regional newspaper in the heart of Lancashire. I spent five years writing news stories and features and meeting up with the vibrant community in the seaside resort I worked in. Since then, I’ve lent my words to a host of national magazines, newspapers and websites, including the BBC, Chat magazine, NME, and more.
